Julie Mastrine grew up in a small Pennsylvania town and in college she was transformed through feminist ideology.  Being Progressive she moved to San Francisco and was employed as an activist.  

Submerged into a leftist city all of her friends and colleagues were also leftists.  She lived in real time the ideologies she had learned and their consequences.

Julie entered into the world of Polyamory which has grown significantly amongst the Woke Urban Left.  Because of the feminist mindset that prevailed men were not protective leaving her vulnerable and the city unsafe.  

Both frustrated and having emotional and physical reactions to her lifestyle she was longing for something deeper for her soul.  Only one friend even questioned her on her choices and lifestyle. 

The ethos was that people were protected by the Universe but Julie was looking for deeper meaning.  After trying various churches she found her way home in Orthodoxy.  She loves the Ancient faith, the sense of community, traditional gender roles and its spirituality.
